The Planning Department
The Planning Department of the Government of Manipur is the nodal agency for the formulation and coordination of the State's Five Year Plans and Annual Plans. It oversees all development activities in the state and acts as the primary liaison with national planning bodies, central ministries, and regional institutions such as the Ministry of DoNER and the North Eastern Council. The Department coordinates funding and implementation of State Plan schemes, Centrally Sponsored and Central Sector programmes, externally aided projects, and other major development initiatives.
